About Me

As the new school year begins, many students claim to be nervous about the transition into middle school: changing classes in a bigger environment, using a locker, and juggling a variety of new teachers.  For parents, the transition might be just as overwhelming. To help you get to know me, I would like to take a moment to give you a bit of information about myself, the classes I teach and contact information.

I graduated from Trinity Christian College and attained a Master’s degree in reading from Lewis University. This is my fifteenth year teaching language arts and literature. I married my high school sweetheart, whom is a teacher as well, and we have two daughters.
Currently, I teach on Team 6B. A link to my Weebly Website can be found by clicking here. I use Google Classroom everyday with students and the best way to stay in touch with the happenings in class. Please let me know if your child would benefit from anything specific or you have questions throughout the year.  Please allow up to 24 hours for me to respond to any phone/email messages; I can be reached at extension 2263 or [email protected]. Powerschool is the online grading system; I update it regularly with graded work and make multiple comments, so please check it frequently.
