Hello Central Middle School Families,
I am thrilled to be starting the 2020-2021 school year as one of your Assistant Principals. This is my 22nd year in District 124. I taught Math for 18 years here at CMS prior to transitioning out of the classroom. I have been beyond fortunate to spend the majority of my career in our district, and take great pride in our school community.
I am an educator at heart, and love everything about CMS! I cannot think of any other place I would want to be than here in the Evergreen Park Community. My goal is to ensure all of your children receive the best education possible in the safest environment. I look forward to working with each and every one of you to make this school year as successful as possible.
Please reach out with any questions, concerns, or ideas you have for myself and our administrative team!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Jenny Daly, Assistant Principal
Greetings CMS,
Welcome to a new school year of learning at Central Middle School. It is with great pleasure and gratitude that I continue to serve as one of the assistant principals in District 124. Approaching my 15th year in education with this district enables me to continue to utilize the tools that I have garnered as a teacher, MTSS coordinator, athletic coach, and counselor to young men and women in the Chicagoland area schools.
I am truly looking forward to all aspects of school. While we know learning is key, it is important that we remember how invaluable our social-emotional environment is to our community. Being an athlete at North Park University provided me with the opportunity to explore the importance of service, community, responsibility, and compromise- all of which supported me to obtain master’s degrees in counseling and educational leadership.
Support is important. I look forward to continued partnership with staff, parents, and the community. Though it is a cliche, it truly does take a village to make certain that our youth have what they need to be successful. Through various mentorship programs along with the creation of a social-emotional curriculum, I have accepted a journey to provide students with life skills training and mentoring support while making sure that students continue to grow academically.
I look forward to your partnership.
Daniel Richmond, M.Ed.
