The sixth grade Central Middle School Gold basketball team won the St. Linus New Year's Tournament Championship with a convincing 42-27 victory on Jan. 14.

The Panthers outlasted great competition in the 30-team tournament, running  their record to 14-2 on the season.

Team members include: Colin Kelly, Nolan Sexton, Colin Lynch, Nolan Smith, Billy Buchanan, Grady Elwood, Jimmy Czerwinski and Ishmil Toefield-Campbell.
