D124 Recognized For PBIS Implementation

All five Evergreen Park School District 124 schools have recently been recognized for their work implementing an equitable, multi-tiered system of support.

As a result of the district’s work, each school was recognized by the Midwest PBIS Network in 16  areas, including: Learning Expectations, Data-Based Decision Making, Professional Development and Coaching, Staff Engagement and Wellness, and many more.

By establishing this framework, District 124 increases consistency of effective instruction, builds staff knowledge and skills so they can support all learners, uses data to proactively identify and provide support for students, and creates a culture that supports stronger relationships with students and their families. This builds a strong foundation, so students gain the skills needed to graduate ready for college or a career.
